A historic church of Macau that was recognized as a world Heritage site, the Ruins of St. Paul was first constructed in the year 1580. Over the centuries the church was destroyed by fire and natural disasters a number of times, yet was reconstructed to perfection every single time. Although today the only original remnants from the church are the front facade and grand stairs, the church and its structure is certainly something worthy of awe. A small museum stands behind the façade of the church which is commonly known as the St. Paul's Museum. Here one can find a number of religious artifacts from the yesteryears of Macau.
