The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced potential changes to guidelines regarding the Nutrition Facts label. The label, introduced 20 years ago, has only gone through one major change since its induction. That change occurred in 2006 when it became required that Trans fats be included on all Nutrition Facts labels.
