I'd have to say that if the seller had wanted to ship these without a box, they totally would have arrived here in great shape. They seem to be that heavy duty. Nice and sturdy. I wanted to get away from the old plastic bowls that I've had since forever and go with stainless steel. Could not have found a better set. This was a very worthwhile purchase.

They have a useful lip to help pick them up and they are not as tall as some which makes lifting them and scraping out batter much easier.

These are excellent bowls. Solid without being too heavy like some ceramics, the rubber bottom keeps them from sliding around on the counter, they seem pretty much unbreakable and they clean well in the dishwasher. They also nest well for storage. I use these and have given a few sets as gifts, they have always been much appreciated. Good product!
