With data as a shared resource, we can accelerate learning from one another and from our patients, sharing new insights and making faster strides against cancer.
The Euro-CNS neuropathology training course "Tumors of the Central Nervous System" will be held from 8-10 June 2015 at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. The course is held as a pre-symposium course to the XIth Northern Light Neuroscience Symposium on Brain Tumors.

The theme for the symposium is “Brain tumors” and in line with the tradition, it will be an interdisciplinary meeting. Different aspects of brain tumors will be covered including e.g. neuropathology, basic science, neurooncology and neurosurgery.

The ESMO Asia Congress will comprise both scientific and educational tracks prepared by an international scientific committee. There will be a strong emphasis on state of the art science, including a call for abstracts, and the current standard of care across all major tumour types.
The 2015 Symposium will concentrate on targeting the MAPK pathway: from RAS to MEK. The programme will cover pre-clinical data and genetics relevant for the understanding of the functional mechanisms in the RAS/ERK/MEK pathway, regulation of MAPK signalling, the rationale and strategies to inhibiting the pathway, biomarkers, mechanisms of resistance, as well as how to overcome it, and some important interactions with other pathways.
