The dramatization portrays the story of Bano, a young lady from an affectionate Muslim family living in Ludhiana (spotted in the condition of Punjab) in the pre 1947 period. The story takes after Bano and her fianceè, Hassan, as they face the hardships created by the 1947 freedom.
