Enjoying the company of human's day in and day out; these animals have become acclimated to their presence and even seem to enjoy the company of little children. However, a couple of hours with these sweethearts and you will realize that they are not quite as hale and hearty as usual. In fact, the Serendib farm houses the sick or injured livestock that are usually rejected by farms through no fault of their own. Now kids don't generally fancy museums but if it is the Cobb and co, they are sure to have one amazing time. This museum home to the National Carriage Collection comprises of around 50 vintage horse drawn vehicles including carts, sulkies, buggies, wagons and omnibuses all of which are accompanied by plenty of educational information. Anything with wheels the boys will love and hence the Cobb and Co Museum has undoubtedly become a favorite destination among the young boys visiting Toowoomba. Apart from all the edutainment highlighted in the museum, this attraction also includes a Coach Stop Play Area which has a series of exciting play equipment, informative children's books, a play carriage and a life size replica steed.
For a wilder touch of animals in Toowoomba visit the city's popular Darling down zoo that includes the famous ferocious inhabitants which are bound to give quite the kick to the little ones. Interestingly enough the zoo is split into continental sections and features the African, South American, South-east Asian and Australian regions with particular species from each of these areas. In addition to all the fascinating species housed here, the zoo is also home to the only white lion in all of Queensland. Other highlights of the zoo include an exciting python display and a big cat feeding session which is particularly ferocious to watch.
It might be nearly 100 km away from the city but this is one adventure park that you would certainly want to take your kids to. This state-of-the-art indoor children's play centre in addition to guaranteeing your child's safety is packed with plenty of fun activity such as massive slides, deep ball pits, padded climbing frames, jumping castles, ride on cars, swings and so much more. You can be sure that this will keep those busy bodies of yours thoroughly occupied.
