Top Leadership Blogs for 2015

There is no shortage of ideas and opinions about leadership on the internet, anyone can create a blog bravely titled leadership. With all the clutter on the internet it's daunting to find voices offering useful information and direction sans the hype.

It's my hope you'll find these blogs to be of use and that this list will be of recurring utility on your journey. I've deliberately created this list from blogs that you may not have yet seen in hope of inspiring you with a few different outlooks.

Leadership Freak

Leadership Freak blog began in January of 2010. I started writing because I felt a deep need to share the leadership lessons I was learning. Although I started leading at a young age, the last ten years of studying leadership changed my life.

In addition to writing the Leadership Freak blog, I’m a co-author of, “The Character Based Leader.” You’ll also find my articles in the material of The American Marketing Association, The American Management Association, The Society for Human Resource Management, The Deloitte Leadership Academy, Huffington Post, and many others.

No one questions that Liz brings a one-of-a-kind authenticity backed with hands-on authority.

Leading Blog: A Leadership Blog

We all possess the capacity for leadership, but only those who cultivate it will ever become truly effective leaders. By providing articles, features, books, multimedia and other resources, we would like to encourage you to develop the leader in you — to become an active participant in shaping your future and the future of others.

Rajesh Setty

Rajesh is involved in a few companies in some combination as a founder, operating executive, board member and/or an investor. Apart from that, he has written a few books and is working on a few more of them. His first book was published at the age of thirteen. While he is not building companies or writing, he enjoys speaking at conferences and company events.

Leadership is not the end point; its task is to create an environment in which other leaders can flourish. Over the past fifteen years, I have been fortunate enough to witness an amazing amount of change and innovation in the organizations for which I have worked, as well as those of clients and partners. While some of these advancements have been driven by the clever implementation of technology, lasting business benefit requires a broad, systemic approach. There needs to be a focus on education, learning, knowledge transfer and change management. And this all needs to be matched with business process, innovation and “people” programs — with inspired, inspiring leaders at the helm.

Thinking is Hard Work

This is a management blog based on rigourous research and practical application to real world business problems. It covers leadership, strategy, marketing, self-management, organizational behaviour and teaching & learning. My objectives are to publish clear, concise and correct posts and to publish once a week (although to be honest, this might not always happen).

The New Laws of Leadership

I've lived many lives: serial entrepreneur, technology and CEO advisor, venture capitalist, engineer in the early days of Microsoft. Today I help CEOs in rapid growth and turnaround scenarios to achieve previously unheard of results through seeing into their blind spots, aligning their team and Board, changing challenging behaviors, increasing team accountability and execution. Some call me a Business Strategist, some call me an Executive Coach.

Servant Leadership

After years of studying servant leadership, comparing it to my own experiences – both good and bad, I wanted to share what I learned with others. Thus, The Modern Servant Leader (ModernServantLeader.com) was born. This site is dedicated to spreading the awareness, adoption and support of servant leadership practices with an emphasis on modern trends, challenges and technology.
