The country's main temple Besakih offers breath-taking views of paddy fields, bubbling streams and verdant mountainside.
The beautiful temple synonymous of Bali sits on a rock in the middle of the ocean. Explore the complex as wave's crash against the rocks and hang around for sights of a stunning sunset. This not to be missed site is located in the scenic village of Braban in Tabanan which is about 20kms from Kuta. The Hindu Temple is an icon of Bali and carries a colourful legend. This scenic sea temple sits at the edge of a scenic cliff on the lovely Bukit Peninsula. A significant archaeological site 'Goa Gajah' meaning elephant cave is a must visit. Located in Bedulu Village just 6kms from Ubud the site is home to a meditation cave, bathing pool, rock carvings and beautiful fountains.
