Yasmine Mustafa's ROAR will be a jewelry line of safety accessories embedded with a high-pitched alarm and intense light. ROAR will essentially be a module that could be inserted into multiple types of jewelry — bracelets, necklaces or attached to a key chain, a belt or purse.

Oxford Mills, once a vacant property in the city's South Kensington neighborhood, opened in May of 2014 and is now a center of innovation for Philadelphia's education community. The project is a mixed-use real estate development designed to provide low cost housing for teachers as well as commercial space for educational nonprofits.

The Mayor's Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO) was looking to hire a manager for the West Philadelphia Promise Zone. The Promise Zone initiative is a place-based program designed to revitalize distressed areas by coordinating efforts across sectors and agencies and prioritizing the zones for federal assistance, essentially moving them up in line. We're currently in the process of reaching out to the CEO about who has been hired to fill the role.
