A lot of what happens in English Language Teaching (TESOL, if you prefer) -- such as doing grammar "exercises" on photocopies -- could have been done in 30 years ago.
What could we do to make ELT (and learning!) more 21st century?
Please keep items added specific to ELT/TESOL!
1
Disable your own photocopy code and never ever again have paper handouts (alternatives: Edmodo, Google Drive...)
2
DON'T use technology principally to create and/or download "materials"
3
Have learners make (short!) group presentations, but never ever use PowerPoint (etc) yourself
