OnePlus One

If a handset with a massive screen is something you been looking for, OnePlus One is sure to make you happy. Released in June, the device sports a large 5.5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is shielded with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a 13 MP primary camera and a 5 MP front-facing snapper. The OnePlus One runs on Android 4.4.2 and is upgradable to Android 4.4.4. Making things faster are a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor and a 3 GB RAM.

iPhone 6 Plus

The iPhone 6 Plus was launched in September this year along with its smaller variant – the iPhone 6. Sporting a 5.5-inch screen, the iPhone 6 Plus comes preloaded with iOS 8 and is upgradable to iOS 8.1.1. The handset is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and a 1 GB RAM. You get an 8 MP rear-camera and a 1.2 MP camera on the rear.

BlackBerry Passport

Though BlackBerry might probably be missing its glorious days, it won’t stop surprising us with some fabulous new devices. The recently launched BlackBerry Passport sports a 4.5-inch display with a 1440 x 1440 pixel resolution. Loaded with BlackBerry 10.3 OS, the handset packs in a 2.26 GHz quad-core processor. In terms of design, BlackBerry seems to have tried something innovative. However, due to the increased width of the device, you may have a hard time wrapping your fingers around it.

Motorola Moto G (Second Gen)

Looking for a budget handset packed with a bunch of cool features? There seems to be no better option than the Motorola Moto G. Preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat, the device sports a 5-inch HD display. A 1.2 GHz quad-core processor teamed up with a 1 GB RAM promises you a decent speed. 8 GB of internal storage should be sufficient enough. The Moto G features an 8 MP primary camera and a 2 MP front-facing snapper.

HTC One M8

Released back in March this year, the HTC One M8 still is one of the hottest handsets around. The device runs on Android 4.4.2 out of the box. However, you will soon be able to upgrade it to Android 5.0 Lollipop somewhere in the near future. The HTC One M8 is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core processor teamed up with 2 GB of RAM. Above all the handset features a dual-camera setup that adds a few cool effects such as post-shot refocusing and selective focus.

Sony Xperia Z3

If you are not quite an HTC fan, you might want to opt for the Sony Xperia Z3, a fabulously designed device featuring a massive 5.2-inch display. With a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor and a 3 GB RAM onboard, things definitely won’t slow down. The Xperia Z3 comes preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat and will most likely receive the Android 5.0 update. In terms of camera, the handset gets you covered with a 20.7 MP rear snapper and a 2.2 MP front-facing camera. A 3100 mAh battery offers a maximum talk-time of 16 hours and a standby time of up to 890 hours.

Nokia Lumia 730

When talking about smartphones, how can we even thing about keeping Nokia out of the list? The recently launched Nokia Lumia 730 is presently one of the best Windows handsets around priced at just over Rs. 14000. The device runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 OS and packs in a decent 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. A 4.7 inch display with a 1280 pixel resolution should be fair enough at a price that low. It features a 6.7 MP primary camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a 5 MP camera on the front. A 2200 mAh battery can keep you going for a maximum of 22 hours, which is definitely not bad.
