The Kimmel Center ran a one-week residency program around the theme “It Gets Better” to discuss bullying issues in our community and give LGBTQ youth a voice. The week featured a youth led panel, a spoken word series, in-school assemblies, and a live concert finale at the Kimmel Center.

The intersection of Lancaster Avenue and 42nd Street in West Philadelphia got a new picnic table and colorful message board where residents can post information about upcoming events, services, and other useful resources for the community. The table and board were designed and built by volunteers through a partnership of the People’s Emergency Center (PEC) and Public Workshop.
