This mall established in the year 2007 is a popular favorite among most of the tourists. Ever since it opened its doors, this mall has been one big hit. There is a large variety of shops in the Pavilion most of which caters to the average shopper. There are however a good collection of luxury outlets as well, so if you are looking for something high end you have a good chance of finding it at the Pavilion.
An age old favorite in Kuala Lumpur the Suria KLCC has been well established as a popular mall in KL. Although it is considered more of a tourist mall you get 10s of thousands of locals as well who visit the mall every week to relax and have fun. There is a large array of unique outlets at the Suriya Mall and it is also a popular destination for famous international brands as well.
Not all tourists will like Lowyat as it is small, crowded and often very noisy. Lowyat in the KL is the main IT, Gadget and Lifestyle mall in the city. Relatively Lowat is rather small in size and is often crowded and full of life. There are hundreds of shops in Lowat all selling electronic gadgets such as phones, cameras, laptops and more. This electronic hub is an excellent place to grab great deals and discounts.
Although located on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, it is still considered a treasure of the city. As the name has it the Mega Mall is Mega indeed and together with the luxury mall known as the Garden, the complex houses a massive collection of all sorts of products.
This most centrally located mall in KL is located right along the Jalan Bukit Bintang and is home to a number of nice shops and the famous National Geographer Flagship Store. In addition to the shopping experience, the basement of the mall boasts a fine Chinese food court called Hutong that is packed with Chinese hawkers every day. The mall is located in close proximity to a number of 4 Star Hotels in Kuala Lumpur, one of which is the Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral.
This very modern mall located opposite Pavilion KL used to be known as the KL Plaza. Flaunting a brand new name and a brand new appearance, this mall houses a variety of high class stores. The main feature of this mall is the top floor which is solely dedicated to signature IT products.
This again is not exactly within the borders of KL but deserves a place in the list since it is arguably the most popular mall in Malaysia. Sunway in its entirety is an entertainment complex which has a giant pyramid for a mall among its many highlights. It is most popularly visited by tourists travelling with children.
