Hum Aapke Hain Koun

Hum Aapke Hain Koun is a 1994 Indian musical romantic-comedy film. Starring Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan, it celebrates Indian wedding traditions by relating to the story of a married couple and the relationship between their families.

Earning over INR1.35 billion (US$22 million) worldwide, the film became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. It was the first Hindi film to gross over INR1 billion, and when adjusted for inflation, it is still one of the highest-earning Bollywood films ever. The 14-song soundtrack, an unusually large number, was also very popular.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun won five Filmfare Awards as well as the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.


Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also known as KKHH, is a Hindi romantic comedy drama film, released in India and the United Kingdom on 16 October 1998. It was written and directed by Karan Johar, and starred the popular on-screen pair of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. Rani Mukerji featured in a supporting role, while Salman Khan had an extended guest appearance.

The film was extremely successful in India and abroad, becoming the highest grossing Indian film of the year, and the first Bollywood film to enter the UK cinema top ten. The soundtrack also became the biggest seller of the year. The film won many major awards including the "Best Film" honours at the Filmfare Awards, the National Film Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Screen Awards, and Bollywood Movie Awards.



Baazigar is a 1993 Bollywood crime thriller film directed by Abbas-Mustan, it is a contemporary thriller about a young man who stops at nothing to get what he wants. The story of Baazigar was inspired from the Hollywood film A Kiss Before Dying. This was Shah Rukh Khan's breakthrough role as the sole lead, Kajol's first commercial success and Shilpa Shetty's debut film. Baazigar was the second film where Shah Rukh Khan played the role of an anti-Hero and also the first film which earned Khan a Filmfare Award for Best Actor. It was a major commercial success at the time of its release and the first film of the famous Shahrukh Khan-Kajol jodi.


Dilwale Dhulaniya Le Jayenge

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge also known as DDLJ, is a 1995 Indian romantic comedy musical film. It stars Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. The film tells the story of a young couple who fall in love on a European vacation, and relates how the boy tries to win over the girl's parents so that she can marry him rather than the boy that her father has chosen for her. It was filmed in India, London, and Switzerland.

Earning over INR106 crore (US$17 million) in India and INR16 crore (US$2.6 million) overseas, the film was declared an "All-time Blockbuster" and became the biggest Bollywood hit of the year, as well as one of the biggest Bollywood hits ever. During the 1996 awards season, the film won 10 Filmfare Awards, the most ever for a single film at that time, as well as the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.


Raja Hindustani

Raja Hindustani is a 1996 Hindi drama romance film directed by Dharmesh Darshan. It tells the tale of a cab driver hailing from a small town, who falls in love with a rich girl. Dil To Pagal Hai also known as DTPH, is a 1997 Indian coming of age musical romance film directed by Yash Chopra. The film depicts the love lives of the dancers in a musical dance troupe. It stars Madhuri Dixit, Shahrukh Khan and Karisma Kapoor, with Akshay Kumar in a supporting role.

Dil To Pagal Hai was the biggest hit of 1997, as well as receiving much praise for its storyline and soundtrack. Additionally, the film won three National Film Awards and seven Filmfare Awards.


Om Shanti Om

Om Shanti Om is a 2007 Hindi romantic-reincarnation film directed and choreographed by Farah Khan. It stars Shahrukh Khan and debutant Deepika Padukone in the lead roles while Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade, and Kirron Kher feature in supporting roles.

Om Shanti Om was released on 9 November 2007 to mostly positive reviews from critics and record-breaking box office collections. It grossed INR1.49 billion (US$24 million) worldwide and thus became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time at the time of its release.


Golmaal Returns

Golmaal Returns is a 2008 Bollywood comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is a sequel to the 2006 film, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited with Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor and Arshad Warsi reprising their roles.

The film released on 29 October 2008 and received mixed response from critics. However, managed to do very well at the box office.


Golmaal 3

Golmaal 3 is a 2010 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and the sequel to the 2008 film Golmaal Returns and the third film in the Golmaal series. The film stars most of the actors from the previous films, including Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. New additions to the cast include actors Mithun Chakraborty and Kunal Khemu.

Golmaal 3 was released on 5 November 2010, and received mixed to negative response worldwide. However, the film was eventually declared a blockbuster at the box office and is currently the ninth highest grossing Bollywood film according to worldwide gross collections.


Krrish 3

Krrish 3 is a 2013 Bollywood superhero science fiction film produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan. It is the third film in the Krrish series following Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006). The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra, and Kangna Ranaut in the lead roles. The story follows the life of Rohit Mehra, a scientist, and Krishna Mehra a.k.a. Krrish, his superhero son, who face an elaborate conspiracy orchestrated by the evil genius Kaal and his female henchman Kaya. In the process, Krishna's pregnant wife Priya is kidnapped by Kaal and the form-changing Kaya takes her place at the Mehra home and eventually falls in love with Krishna.

Krrish 3 was reportedly produced on a budget of INR1.15 billion (US$19 million). It has since received mixed reviews from film critics with praise directed towards Roshan and Ranaut's performances, the visual effects, and the cinematography; criticism has been directed to the music provided by composer and the director's brother Rajesh Roshan, the story and screenplay. The film was declared a blockbuster in India by Box Office India.
