Ford takes the cake: Awards the Company has received in 2014

Ford Motor Company is no stranger to winning awards. With awards being handed out from Utah to England, it’s really no surprise that Ford is a leader all across the world. Ask any dealer and they will tell you about Ford’s superiority in the car industry, and how hard the motor company works to stay at the top of its class.

2014 C-MAX Hybrid Top Safety Pick

In 2014, the C-MAX Hybrid earned the title of ‘Top Safety Pick” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Every one that drives a C-MAX can rest assured that they’re in good hands while in the vehicle.

One of the World’s Most Ethical Companies

For the fifth year in a row, Ethisphere Institute recognized Ford as one of the most ethical companies in the world. Ford is one of only 144 companies selected from Utah and across the globe, and is the only automaker to receive the award.

2014 F150 Raptor SVT “Off-Road Truck of Texas”

Texas Auto Writers Association proudly named the 2014 F150 Raptor SVT as the “Off-Road Truck of Texas” this year. Nearly every dealer in the state will note the popularity of the truck.

‘International Van of the Year 2014’

The new Ford Transit Connect was named van of the year in 2014, making the motor company the only manufacturer to ever receive this award two years in a row.


Business Car Awards gave Ford’s S-Max the title of “Best MVP.” This title makes it the seventh successive year the car has won the title and shut its competitors down.

International Engine of the Year

Engine Technology International awarded Ford the “Engine of the Year” title for the 1.0 Liter EcoBoost engine. It’s the third year in a row the engine has won the title, and it’s showing no signs of handing the crown off anytime soon.

Focus- Best Family Used Car

Awarded by What Car? Used Car Awards, the Focus stands supreme as the best used family car on the market. Families in Utah are often spotted behind the wheel of one of these; with hundreds more people flocking to their dealer to get one for their family.

Fiesta- Car of the Year

The Ford Fiesta took the “Car of the Year” award from Telegraph Motoring Awards in 2014. It’s no surprise it won the award, seeing as how it’s a great, reliable car.
