Tufts Medstart

Tufts Medstart

Tufts Medstart is a healthcare conference with a mission of helping attendees turn ideas into action. This year's conference, themed "Merging Tradition with Technology", will focus on the interfacing of cultural values in healthcare and its augmentation by the advent of technology. Medical technologies are changing healthcare in the community and at the bedside. We are looking to explore how technology has been beneficial in connecting the different players in healthcare- doctors to patients, patients to patients, hospitals to patients, etc. Our goal is to help foster ideas in entrepreneurship through themes including wearable technologies, applications of novel technologies in select populations, and the growing influence of consumerism in healthcare.

This year's keynote speaker is Carla Small, Senior Director of Innovation at Boston Children's Hospital. The conference will be from 8:30am-5:30pm, with a networking event from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Register for the conference at: http://bit.ly/tuftsmedstart2017-registration
