by The Lazy Scholar The Internet Writing Journal, June 1998 how to create a character profile and a sample template.
This is basically a longer in-depth fill-in-the-blank character development guide. I use it once in a while if I'm writing about one specific character, or one character really stands out more than the rest.
These 100 Character Development questions, written by my friend Rich Taylor, have come in handy so many times for me as a writer! I put Michael through these questions as I was working on his character development, way back when he was brand new to me and we knew nothing about each other.
If you think something needs to be added, don't hesitate to let me know, comment about it! I'm aiming to make this in depth and high quality. Also, this sheet is not designed for fan-characters, mind you, it can be utilized that way, but it's not designed for it!
PLEASE, IF YOU USE THIS, POST A REVIEW! I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. Writers block. We all have it. This is just one of my methods of dealing with it. This full, detailed character profile template that I've put together here asks plenty of those questions that you just don't think of sometimes.
