Ever heard that Singapore lacks interest? Not for the lover of adventure though. With many mountains, forests and waters available for many outdoor activities, you need to discover what adventure is.
Paintball needs 10 players. The players shoot each other with small shots of paints. The game takes place in open space with barriers in between. The paint shot is a water-soluble dye. You have to eliminate your enemy by covering them with paint shots. This is used as a military training as well. Paintball sessions are available at Singapore Discovery Centre with SGD 25 per person. The game duration is approximately two hours.
Sengkang swimming complex is one ideal place to let your kids practise swimming. They can be up to any mischief they like: multislide, free fall, speedslide and twistslide. However your child need to be at least 1.2 metres in height. The kids won't have any chance to be free at any cost. A big bucket of water will pour down on them every few minutes. Quite similar to snow ski lift, cable skiing is done over water. The players are supported by an overhead cable. Cable Ski is available at East Coast Lagoon with SGD 32 per hour.
You need to take control of a vehicle with three wheels. It has a good braking system, and your part is to be in control of the speed. Your path is 650-metre concrete track. Once done with the luge, you can then go for skyride and enjoy the city's scenery. One adventurous thing you must not miss. Deactivated shotguns are used for this activity. You can fire infrared beams at the clays, which are reflective and reusable. It gives the authentic sound when fired and breaks clay. The scoreboard will display your progress with each gun. Five players can play the game in one go.
Your part is to climb five metres above ground and go from tree to tree using ladders, swings, trapezes and nets. You are watched over by coaches on ground. This adventurous activity is available at Bedok Reservoir Park.
This is a chain of green, open spaces, located in Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Kent Ridge Park and West Coast Park. Climb 36 metres, and you will be in to breathe in the city's breathtaking view. This journey will take from two to four hours.
Eastern Singapore hosts quite a lot of scuba diving locations, along with specialist firms to offer diving trips to neighbouring islands. A novice can learn diving basics in a local swimming pool. The diving session will take about three hours, and the diver should at least be 10 years old.
