Not only did these tunnels provide security to the fighting men, these were also the tunnels that were used as the communication routes, food and weapon caches and living quarters by the soldiers of war.
The Saigon Notre Dame Basilica which is also known as the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, is a beautiful and breathtaking construction, built by the French between 1863 and 1880. It is one of the finest structures in the city that bear witness to the colonial era of the land.
