This video begins with a discussion about the need for change. One of the key statements in this video is that we should meet students in their learning space. It ends the video with, "Welcome to the 21st Century Classroom", which would be a great way to begin discussion!

This is a great video that begins by discussing how our education system is built for the Industrial Revolution to teach students in the Digital Revolution. It offers lots of strategies and concepts to engage the 21st Century learner.

This video gives you a brief overview of students' opinions about their classroom experiences. This video is more focused on college level students. The video ends with a believe that technology alone can solve all the world's problems.

21st Century Literacy

This video discusses that literacy is evolving and its changing the way that we teach and learn. It provides some statistics that can be confusing. It states that 50% of voters believe the country is moving in the wrong direction in educating young people. However, it doesn't specify whether that believe is because teachers aren't changing to accommodate 21st Century learners or that they are.

21st Century Learning Matters

This video begins with the Librarian of Congress, Dr. James H. Billington discussing the need for changing and adapting to learning in the 21st Century. The video contains important information about what learning looks like in the 21st century, however, it appears to be an older video that probably should be updated. (Video was uploaded in 2008)
