Listly by Richard Arenal-Mullen
A curated list of youtube videos relating to learning in the 21st century.
A video showing k-12 student questions and responses, describing their involvement with technology on a daily basis. Some excellent points are made and the video proves to be quite motivating.
A video showing collegiate students giving facts about their digital literacy and involvement on a daily basis. Easily relatable for college graduates, applicable to our own lives, and very creative.
A video that would work well with a high school crowd. The points brought up are motivating, truthful, and insightful. The video provides answers to many questions we may have and can easily be applied to many classrooms and environments.
A very moving video about the things that teachers could and should be doing in the classroom. These tasks may prove difficult for some environments, but still hold true.
A video similar to the first and second videos, but a bit more dated. The students bring up very valid, thought-provoking points, but are not an accurate representation of learners today.
Some very valid points, ideas and questions that apply to our learners today, and very insightful, motivating words. However, not everything proves to be true for a majority of the learning environments I have experienced. While it is a motivating video, it brought up more questions and frustrations than many of the other videos did.
Not a bad video, but a little dated. The concepts hold true, but the video needs updating. However, still a good video to share with other teachers.
This video was very dated and seemed a bit behind in information. Some of the facts reported are about things that have already happened. While it is eye-opening to see how far we have come, it was not a very effective video.
The most dry video on the list. While there is legitimate information and applicable ideas, the information is dated and presented in a boring manner.
