I looked at every brand of Marble Run, in person, for years. I blindly ordered this one and I was shocked! This is the same toy!!! All the plastic pieces fit together perfectly. The pieces are exactly the same as the toy I had as a kid. Floored! We love this run and I am so happy we bought it. It isn't cheap, the marbles flow thru the toy seamlessly.

Our two year old son adored this toy while we had it. He played with it every single day, sometimes for over an hour. That's a long time for a toddler! The balls are about the size of a golf ball, so they can't be put in the mouth. They are also weighted differently, so you can make one of the balls "chase" the others. The tracks are also easily rearranged to create different (though not very complex) runs. This really was a great way to introduce marble runs to our son--this toy is a winner!

I had these for my son growing up and now I bought them for my grand niece and nephews. You can see their skills increase the more they play. I use it in the pool or sink with water and with marbles

This toy is one of the best things we've gotten for our kids in a long time. It is made of solid wood pieces which can be fit together in different patterns, allowing marbles to roll down the track and through tunnels. It sounds very simplistic, but this is its charm! Our six year old son played with it for two days straight when he got it for Christmas, and soon his two older sisters were helping think of new ways to configure the marble run. I was impressed because Quadrilla is very sturdy when it's assembled, which avoids the frustrations we sometimes see with racetracks or Lego buildings that fall apart.

My five year old and I built the first designs together and since then he's been off and running, on his own when I'm not able to join him. He doesn't always build designs that work but that is actually a good thing, as now he's talking about how the marble didn't have enough momentum to make it through a dip in the track to the next high point.

A great educational vehicle and a fascinating toy. You can put together/arrange a marble maze in an infinite variety of permutations. We purchased two which added to the run length/time contiuum and variety.
But one set is plenty to get your children thinking progressively and tangentally.
