Software and tools for life and business coaches

I know what it's like to be disorganised! So many clients, notes, invoices. Argh!.
So, I've pulled together a list of awesome tools to help you keep your coaching business running smoothly.

Ruzuku

Ruzuku

Run webinars and online courses easily and simply using Ruzuku.
Don't be put off by their funny looking website! Ruzuku is rammed with features.

It is worth noting though, that Ruzuku is not great for managing individual clients - instead, it's more of a learning management system making it easy to get your courses up and running.
Also, beware that at the moment you can only bill clients in dollars.

Life Coach Manager

If you're looking for a tool to help you manage the business side of being a coach, Life Coach Manager is great.

The site itself is not stylish, but it is full of useful features to help you spend more time coaching and less time chasing invoices and worrying about all your admin.

Here's what it can do:

  • Access your data anywhere
  • Secure Client Area
  • Automatically invoice and track payments
  • Accept Credit Cards
  • Control your schedule with the live calendar
  • Mass e-mail your current and prospective clients
  • Create reports to track your money and clients
  • Log your clients' progress with full encryption
  • Easily generate your own website
  • Mobile Access: Stay connected to your business when you're on the go!
Life Tick

Goal focused software to help you manage clients.
It's simple but effective! We like the visual goal tracking element of this tool and the easy overview of all clients.

Please note that though, that branding options are limited, and your clients will definitely know that you are using Lifetick!

17 Hats

I am in love with 17 hats! It's an amazing tool designed for lone rangers and will help you manage your projects, clients and finances, all in one. It's easy to use and looks great. And - it's super affordable too. 17 Hats is amazing!

Coaching Cloud

The best tool we've found! Looks great and is packed with features.

Manage all of your client interactions in one secure space.
Deliver greater results to more clients with less effort.
Keep track of sessions and results achieved. Support clients between sessions with online coaching and content delivery. Give your clients a great way to stay focused and on track.

Track your sessions, client hours and feedback.

With session booking, professional notes, session reminders via email, trackable coaching hours, Google calendar & PayPal integration.

When you manage your sessions through CoachingCloud you can use the coaching journal to record your session notes and ask clients to fill in their own session summary and actions. Feedback from clients after each session allows you to adjust your approach and develop longer lasting client relationships.

CoachingCloud integrates to Google calendar and automatically upates your One-to-One sessions. We also make it easy for clients to pay for sessions online when you link your PayPal account.

Jigsaw Box

Jigsaw Box

It's butt ugly, but JigsawBox is very popular! It's great because it allows you to manage clients as well as run online courses - making it easier for you to earn money while you sleep.

Here's what it can do:

Turn your expertise into online coaching programs — so you can make money while you sleep… and stop trading coaching “hours-for-dollars”, which lets you get new coaching clients, help more people and change lives…. even when you’re not there.

Help your clients get results faster, more effectively — by organizing your coaching conversations with them in one central place, clients can quickly see their past sessions, current goals and challenges to focus on. Plus, you’ll discover the power of “written coaching” in a whole new way! (More later…)

Take care of the “techie” stuff so you can focus on what you do best — coaches make money coaching, not dealing with software. You can forget all about it.
