YouTube Redesign Tweaks Account Switcher and Video Pages

YouTube has received an ever so minor redesign. When I kicked back with a few videos this morning (is there a better way to start the day?) I noticed the information pane underneath the video had been tweaked slightly. If memory serves, the Add To, Share and More buttons weren't tucked quite so far towards the left-hand side of the page.

Spotify, now with 40 million users, looks like it's adding another new feature that it hopes will help get the long tail of those registered music listeners more active on its platform. A tab has appeared called "Tastemakers" - a list of people whose names may not at all be familiar to you, but who have achieved some kind of popularity already on Spotify for their music playlists.

In tandem with that, SlideShare is dropping its PRO tiers, once priced at $19/month and $49/month, and making extra features like analytics, which used to come at a price, free for all.

Facebook Doubles Ads Users Can See from Pages They Haven't Liked - AllFacebook

In a quiet move that could mean double the pleasure for advertisers and double trouble in terms of users' perceptions of Facebook, the social network told ad agencies in an email earlier this month that brands can now serve two ads per day to the News Feeds of users who have not liked their pages, up from one.

Vine Finally Lets You Import Videos From Your Phone

Vine is granting the wishes of every star and amateur on its platform by allowing users to import existing videos. The absence of this feature on Vine, until now, resulted in some opting for Instagram instead; the platform lets you upload 15-second videos, as opposed to Vine's six seconds that you couldn't pull from elsewhere.

Twitter Tests Notifications for Favorites

Twitter is back in experimental mode, but its latest test is annoying people. A sizable number of users are seeing tweets favorited by others in their timeline, just like retweets. They are also getting notifications when others follow someone new.

Shazam restores Spotify sharing and tests Beats Music for good measure

dropping the ability to listen to tagged tracks on Spotify in the UK and other countries, Shazam has re-added the service to its free app in most locales. The original issue came about thanks to a deal with Deezer, which replaced Spotify in in Germany, Mexico, the UK and Brazil (the premium paid app always worked).

Spotify Deal with BandPage Allows Musicians to Sell Merch and Exclusives Directly to Fans

Feedly wprowadza Slider. Od teraz masz jeszcze mniej powodów, by szukać innych rozwiązań
