I purchased this mat strictly for travel and I am very pleased. The extra length is great as I am tall (5'10) and the mat has plenty of cushioning and grip so I wasn't sliding around as I sometimes do on my much more expensive day to day mat. It folded up easily into my carry-on and is very lightweight. Would definitely recommend!

I'm a personal trainer and agree that body fat can be tricky to measure. That said, this scale is very, very consistent. It will not necessarily match what you get on a dexa, etc. (my wife and I were only 0.5% from our caliper tests on athletic mode, which is pretty good since one caliper measurement to another can vary this much) so the goal is really to track your body fat and weight over time. This scale excels there. Setup a spreadsheet, measure yourself at the same time of the day, preferably right after a morning shower when your feet are moist (ladies dry your hair first), and track your progress.

I have an extremely accurate scale, and the Withings scale weighed me at exactly the same weight as my EatSmart scale. Then, after downloading the Withings app, I discovered you could tie your BodyMedia to this scale!!! This was a bonus I didn't know about when I ordered it.
