Are you an unemployed or underemployed resident looking to start your own business? Atlantic Cape Community College has partnered with the Ocean City Free Public Library, Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, and New Jersey Small Business Development Center at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey to present "Fresh Start Entrepreneurial Training Program," beginning Tuesday, Oct. 14.
The college is making computers available at its campuses, by appointment, beginning Monday, Sept. 15. Displaced workers must present a casino ID and bring a USB drive to save their work, or purchase a low-cost print card at campus libraries. Lists of career exploration and resume-building websites will be provided.
Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a variety of Office Productivity and Computer Workshops this fall, including several new ones.
Atlantic Cape Community College will hold an information session regarding its new Construction Operator Technician Program at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Atlantic Cape Community College will offer a new certification program for those interested in becoming substitute teachers. This 10-hour program provides an overview of the role and expectations of the substitute teacher, as well as the application and certification process. Upon completion, students will receive one Continuing Education Unit.
