Ever wanted to smash that TV screen showing a happy couple while you're moaning over your sinking relationship? That's right--here are a few movies that you must definitely avoid at those times. A guide for the girls, this one!
1
Eat. Pray. Love.
A major no-no! I'd watched it during a semi-serious fight with my partner. What happened next was history--I got influenced by all that love-hate-incompatibility-I-wanna-be-myself formulas that I ended up telling him I want out when I really didn't want to!
2
P S I love you
Gerry is THE perfect man! And when you're thinking how your man is soo imperfect, this is NOT the movie for you.
3
The Proposal
Just...no. Sandra acting all bossy over the man have you puffing up with girl-pride--another time. Just not now.
4
Confessions of a Shopaholic
It was just another awesome chick-flick movie that you could relate to BEFORE this phase you're going through. All you can do now is ogle at how lucky she is for having snagged such a perfectly supportive man. So let's not do this one yeah?
5
Friends With Benefits
When you're in a phase where you're contemplating break-up, its best that you don't even consider watching this movie!
6
Sex And The City
Why you shouldn't watch it? Well, Big says no to the wedding ON the day of his wedding to Carrie. And then, the whole movie has Carrie revolving around this, trying to move on. Take my word and stay away from this one.
7
Sex And The City 2
No. Just no. The movie opens up with the lead pair wanting to take a break off their marriage. Later when you think everything is going alright, Carrie goes ahead to cheat on Big! When you're in the dark over your perfect relationship crumbling apart, you definitely don't want to go watching this one...
8
Bride Wars
Emma and Liv are gearing up for their big day and wanting it to be the most perfect. Their road to the future is set is what it means. Do you really wanna watch this when you are at crossroads? I think not.
9
Valentine's Day
Title says it all. The picture here says it all. Enough said.
Then again, you can watch it if you can bear seeing all the lovey dovey couples on screen. This movie teaches you that if a relationship doesn't work and if you didn't find your soulmate, you'll find that person--its just not this one.
10
ANY movie that you've watched with your ex
Watching movies that you've watched with him while still together can be bad for the obvious reason: it'll bring back a bucket-load (and more) of memories of you two while its now time for you to get over all that and move on!
