WILLIAM HEIZER - FileMaker, Inc.

Bill is a senior consulting engineer for FileMaker, Inc. He graduated from Ball State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems. Previously he worked with RealMed, Inc. as a Systems Analyst for an Internet based claims adjudication firm. Prior to RealMed, Bill founded C&H Consulting Group, Inc., a midwest based information technology company, that worked with numerous fortune 500 companies, providing IT support and programming expertise. He is a FileMaker 7-13 Certified developer and FileMaker trainer.

SARA SEVERSON - Soliant Consulting

Sara is a senior developer for Soliant Consulting, based in the wilds of Washington state. Originally a marketing consultant, Sara has been a FileMaker developer for 12 years: the last six with Soliant Consulting, and the six years prior as an in-house developer. She is a FileMaker 9-12 Certified developer and is a certified Force.com developer and Salesforce.com administrator. Sara was the lead writer for FileMaker Training Series: Advanced for the FileMaker 13.

MOLLY CONNOLLY - Thorsen Consulting, Inc.

Molly, owner of Thorsen Consulting, is a FileMaker developer who provides business advisory services to other FileMaker developers on how to effectively run and grow their businesses. As a “consultant to consultants” Molly leverages her 15+ years of experience to help companies on a variety of issues including client management, training, recruiting and sales. Her virtual training course (https://jumpstartfm.com/)offers training and mentoring to new developers to help them learn necessary technical skills but also to learn consulting and project management skills necessary to be a successful developer.

JOHN SINDELAR - SeedCode

John has worked with the FileMaker Platform for over 15 years and is the developer behind SeedCode, authors and publishers of elegant FileMaker Pro templates, including SeedCode Calendar. John is a returning FileMaker DevCon speaker and one of the organizers of PauseonError. He received the 2004 FileMaker Excellence Award for “Developing Outstanding Technical Resources for the FileMaker Pro Community” and “Solution of the Year” for SeedCode Calendar in 2010 and SQL Explorer in 2012. SeedCode was named FileMaker Business Partner of the Year in the Americas in 2013.

MATTHEW O’DELL - FileMaker, Inc.

Matthew is the technical marketing manager for FileMaker, Inc. based out of Santa Clara, California. Matt has been an avid FileMaker user for over 10 years. He started as an IT manager for a small student based travel company in DeKalb, Illnois before moving to Soliant Consulting in Chicago. While with Soliant, Matt worked as a developer, trainer, and IT staff member. He joined FileMaker, Inc. in 2008 as the Systems Engineer for the Mid-Atlantic US and Canadian territories. He is a FileMaker 7-13 Certified developer, a FileMaker trainer, and MySQL 5.0 developer certified.

VINCENZO MENANNO - Beezwax

VInce is the director of FileMaker development at Beezwax and has over 20+ year of experience using FileMaker. He is a FileMaker 7-12 Certified developer and a multi-lingual speaker at FileMaker conferences in the US, Canada and Europe. Vince areas of expertise is in FileMaker database analysis, performance and design. He also loves teaching, and contributing to the FileMaker community via training videos, blog posts and developer utilities such as InspectorPro.

ROSEMARY TIETGE - FileMaker, Inc.

Rosemary is a Consulting Engineer with FileMaker, Inc., a FileMaker 8-13 Certified developer, and a FileMaker trainer. She works with the Americas Sales team communicating the power of FileMaker and providing technical guidance to customers. She joined the FileMaker team in January 2006. Prior to joining FileMaker, she was the Publishing Technology Manager at Harvard University Press and an independent FileMaker developer. Rosemary's technical expertise includes modeling publishing workflows, content management, and deploying FileMaker Server.

GREG LANE - Skeleton Key

Greg is the vice president of application development at Skeleton Key, a FileMaker Business Alliance Platinum level member in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a FileMaker 7-12 Certified developer and has enjoyed solving problems with FileMaker for more than 25 years. Greg enjoys blogging about FileMaker development techniques and has contributed to a variety of books, white papers, and other FileMaker-related publications. Greg earned a masters in computer information systems and is a previous FileMaker DevCon speaker.

CRISTOFFER IPPOLITE - iSolutions, Inc

Cris is president and founder of iSolutions, Inc., a Los Angeles based FileMaker development firm known for bleeding edge technology integrations. iSolutions is a Platinum-level FileMaker Business Alliance member. Cris is a FileMaker 7-12 Certified developer and a FileMaker trainer. He has been working with FileMaker for 23 years and is actively involved in all development projects for iSolutions, Inc. clients. Cris is a veteran DevCon speaker enjoying his 14th year as a speaker.

JULIE SIGFRINIUS - FileMaker, Inc.

Julie manages the Americas reseller and developer channels for FileMaker, Inc. In addition, she is the regional manager for Latin America. Julie has experience in selling technology solutions as well as managing professional services and training companies. Prior to her current position, she was employed by one of Apple’s premiere resellers for 16 years and helped build a successful FileMaker division. Born in Los Angeles, California, Julie now lives with her husband, three children and grandson in Minnesota.

MARK BAUM - FileMaker, Inc.

Mark is a senior FileMaker developer at FileMaker, Inc. As part of the in-house development team, he works with a wide range of internal FileMaker-based systems as well as various integration technologies. He has 17 years of experience as a FileMaker developer in the areas of desktop publishing, online trade magazines, business-to-business telemarketing, medical research reporting, and physician O.R. scheduling. He is a FileMaker 11-13 Certified developer.

JAMES MEDEMA - Surefoot Database Consulting

Jim originally studied to be an English teacher before he entered the technology market with Apple Educational Sales and discovered FileMaker 2.0. Since then he has consulted with, developed for, and trained clients from coast to coast and is a FileMaker 7-12 Certified developer. In 2009, Jim founded Surefoot Database Consulting in Minneapolis and in 2012 co-founded the active FMPUG-MN user (developer) group with friend and colleague Tim Cimbura. He is currently writing a book designed to guide clients through the software development process.

SCOTT LOVE - Soliant Consulting

One of the founding partners and COO for Soliant Consulting, Scott has led teams at Apple Inc., Macromedia (now Adobe), and served as the director of project management at Productopia (now About.com). He began his career teaching English in Japan and as a managing editor for the first online team at ZiffDavis for MacUser/MacWEEK magazines. He is a recipient of the FileMaker Excellence Award, has co-authored numerous books on FileMaker, is a veteran FileMaker DevCon speaker, and graduated magna cum laude in English Literature from Colorado College. He likes to garden and takes full credit for the results that, let’s be honest, have more to do with the Bay Area’s climate than any contributions he might make.

D. TODD WELLER - Cross IT Services & Solutions, LLC

Todd is the senior data system architect with Cross IT Services & Solutions, LLC. He has been using and developing FileMaker solutions for over 12 years for both in-house and outside client solutions. Todd is a FileMaker 12 Certified developer and a member of the FileMaker Technical Network, the FileMaker Business Alliance, and FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree and prior to his FileMaker experience, he worked in industry for an electrical engineering firm that specialized in systems integration as a PLC and Drive System programmer and troubleshooter.

TODD GEIST - geist interactive

Todd started using FileMaker Pro in the early 90’s when he was working at Washington University School of Medicine. In 1997, he left academics to start a technology business. Todd later founded geist interactive, a FileMaker development firm now based in southern California. He has delivered over 20 sessions at FileMaker DevCon over the years on a range of topics. He is also the founder of ModularFileMaker.org, a popular FileMaker code sharing site and the co-founder and president of the Board of One Spark Academy, a non- profit learning center in Thousand Oaks, California.

LUKE ROCHESTER - Biznet

Luke is a Business Intelligence (BI) consultant with qualifications in engineering and psychology. He designed and built Executive Dashboards for Fortune 500 directors as well as CEO’s of small to medium sized companies. Using FileMaker 13 he delivers custom made dashboards to phones, tablets, laptops, desktops and now browsers (via FileMaker WebDirect), and has been able to put the ‘Business’ back into “Business Intelligence”, which is quickly moving away from IT and into the hands of non-programmers (AKA knowledge workers). Luke considers FileMaker the perfect tool for rapid development of Dashboards and other BI Tools.
