Rajinikanth flop movies

Baba went on to become a dear movie in everyone's hearts, but unfortunately bombed at the box office surprising everyone! This is a rather good movie, containing a wonderful message; it made a lot of news with the different sort of story, and also with the actor claiming to be a true follower of the God Babaji as in the movie. Still, its quite surprising that it failed the cash register.

The movie must surely have made viewers cry. The Star played a person to whom this one rude, obnoxious girl opened up to. The movie ends with the girl dying, clutching Rajini's shirt. The music scored great but why oh why did the movie fail?!

The Super Star played the part of a forgetful teacher and his acting was thoroughly heartwarming. He also has a double role in it! Yet it is sad that it turned out to be a flop!

Sri Raghavendra was a great godman, and a brilliant philosopher in yesteryear India. Rajinikanth did complete justice to the role and won praises for the same. But alas, one can't have both the cherry AND the cake at all times.

There were mixed opinions and responses about the movie, but though Wikipedia says that "The film emerged as a moderate commercial success," Kochadaiiyaan was not well received.

Sivaji, Rajini, Vishnuvardhan, three MEGA STARS of South Indian cinema were part of the cast. The script was great, nice action. But oh well...there ARE rainy days, too is all.

Yup, Rajini's sad face above says it all--that's how the movie turned out. The plot is of a rocky marriage between a photographer and a rich industrialist's daughter. Maybe it bunked because it was a run-of-the-mill story?

The movie's story was yet again making us go aww but the downside that fans disliked was that Rajini had less screen space though it was marketed as a 'Rajini movie'. Sad ><

Though the movie has stars like Raghuvaran and Shobhana starring alonside Rajinikanth, not many have really even heard of this movie.

I've heard my parents saying this movie was a flop. When I ask the plot, they don't recall anything. This is the sad state of memories this movie has left behind. Shocking when its the superstar huh?!
