Archipelago Anavilhanas "It is the second largest river archipelago in the world, located in the heart of the Amazon near the city of New Airão, about 100 km from Manaus. There are over 400 islands and a multitude of islets of dense forest, surrounded by the waters of the Rio Negro to form a complex that, seen in satellite photo, it seems an astonishing maze of grooves and fillets.
