All of us would be familiar with the scene of women (men also!) at home watching soap operas one after the other the whole day! Indian women have their cut here, too!
This is a constant problem in all developing nations. There's been no Indian woman who's not had to share her woe on this for sure!
Yup yup yup. The infamous mom-in-law strikes again! Just that she's bolder, meaner and all that on a bigger level. Women would sure like to talk out their woes a little (too much) and that's fair, yeah?
VERY HOT TOPIC They're worn by everyone, everyday. Of course they're the main thing them wives talk about! From normal ones to stone-studded ones...yikes, a visit to a sari store might as well be the end of the world. Or of the word patience...
Hot topic! Girls always fuss over clothes--is established. This obsession over intricately designed sari blouses however, is well off the highway. Discussions between the wives run to hours just about the blouses!
Sure all moms do this. Indian mothers just go a notch higher than the rest is what I feel. From academics to how well that neighbor recites the shlokas on God, bah!!
This is VERY BIG in India, and with the womenfolk here. They're always immersed in talking or doing things related to religious things no matter which religion they belong to.
Who doesn't gossip? Men do it, too! Then again, I've seen way too much gossip always happening in the women's circles here in my locale.
