This is a Dash 8 approach and landing in Ilulissat (Jakobshavn) in the west coast of Greenland. The approach is over the Greenland glacier and over a fjord full of icebergs. Greenland is an amazing place. I asked pilot friends of mine to take my camera with them on a trip to this place.
We flew in a Dash Q8 from Air Greenland, from Ilulissat (Jakobshavn) to Kangerlussuaq (Søndre Strømfjord) on our way home after 7 days in Ilulissat.

Filmen er optaget og redigeret i juli 2013 af Peer Fischer Holm på en 14-dages rejse langs Grønlands østkyst til Kap Alexander, der ligger lidt nord for Thule. Her var vi heldige at se isbjørne. Rejsen begyndte i Sønder Strømfjord, der på grønlandsk hedder Kangerlusuaq.

I recently returned from a trip to Greenland (Aug 2010) The place I visited is the tourist capital of Greenland, Ilulissat. It is famous for Jokobhsvnd - a glacier that produces 10% of world's icebergs. It's an awesome place to visit if you want to see glaciers and icebergs.
