Although your gun safe is a perfect place to protect important items such as family heirlooms, weapons, digital data and important documents, there are plenty of things that you shouldn't store there. Here are just a few items that should be stored somewhere else.
It may seem like a creative form of punishment for when they start getting on your nerves, but locking your child inside your vault is never a good idea – no matter how obnoxious they're acting.

They're illegal, they're bad for you and you won't be able to get away with it like Walter White.
You need to keep the vault's code secure – but keep it in a place where you'll be able to access it if you forget the passcode. Keeping it locked within the vault could ensure you never see the inside of your gun safe again.
