A list of events taking place across Prince Edward Island this weekend.

Thursday+ - Evangeline Bluegrass Festival

The first Evangeline Bluegrass and Traditional Music Festival was held in 2001. Since that time, many patrons have enjoyed excellent performances by numerous artists.The organizing committee aims to provide entertainment as requested by you, the spectators. We hope that you continue to enjoy the bands we book each year.

Friday - Mad Hatter's Tea Party

The PEI Farm Centre is the hub for community & agriculture-related organizations to meet, discuss and engage in growing farming and food production on Prince Edward Island.

Friday - Serena Ryder

July 1 to September 7, historic Confederation Landing will play host to the spectacular PEI 2014 Celebration Zone. Located on the beautiful Charlottetown waterfront where the Fathers of Confederation came ashore, the PEI 2014 Celebration Zone will be a hub of celebratory activity all summer long. Featuring daily concerts, a lounge and culinary area, interactive walking tours, children’s activities, arts & heritage exhibits, theatre, dance and other family-friendly activities, the PEI 2014 Celebrations Zone has something for everyone.

Saturday - The Color Run

We can't wait to see you! Below is all the information you will need to be ready for race day. Grab your tutus, your friends, and your running shoes and we'll see you at the start line! The start-line window will open at 8:00 AM with waves going every few minutes!

Saturday - DiverseCity 2014 - PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada

PEI ANC's DiverseCity Festival celebrates Canadian multiculturalism - it is PEI's largest, family-friendly, free, outdoor street festival. This year, with funding from PEI 2014, DiverseCity is expanding to include two more communities! Come and experience a wide-range of cultural offerings -- music and dance, displays, activities, games, and delicious international food.

Monday+ - Summerside Lobster Festival

Support the Summerside Lobster Festival this summer, the community's 59th annual celebration and receive discounts on evening activities and events in the Green's Shore tent from July 14 - 19.

Daily - Peakes Quay Summer Concert Series

Peakes Wharf summer concert series is a FREE outdoor concert on the beautiful Charlottetown waterfront that takes place 7 afternoon and 7 nights a week(all shows weather permitting) There is a wide variety of local entertainers including Eddie Quinn , Joey Kitson, Kendall Docherty, Gord Belsher & Richard Wood along with the ever popular Keltic Kids.
