Proof Points... Being a STEM teacher means that you are very busy and that time is always at a premium. Teachers need all the help they can get to develop instructional plans that are engaging and standards-based. The goals for developing these STEM Resources were twofold.

The task types indicate the breadth and depth of CCSS mathematical practices assessed by the task. Novice tasks involve only MP2 and MP6 and do so at a low level. Apprentice tasks add MP3 and MP7 but, because of the guidance within the task, do so at a comparatively modest level.

Differentiation: This game offers many opportunities to differentiate the activity. First of all, teachers are able to select from three different versions. Secondly, each teacher should differentiate the game analysis to meet the instructional level of his/her students. Most students can handle the questions with teacher guidance.
