Acapulco is a city, municipality and major sea port in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico, 300 kilometres (190 mi) southwest from Mexico City. The city is best known as one of Mexicos oldest and most well-known beach resorts, which came into prominence by the 1950s as a getaway for Hollywood stars and millionaires.
Recorded December 9, 2010 The video begins as I sail into Acapulco's harbor on the Island Princess. My first activity was taking a coastal cruise around Acapulco. During the cruise I watched the La Quebrada Cliff Divers. After the coastal cruise I walked through the Zócalo, Acapulco's town square.
After arriving on the Ocean Dream cruise ship, lets go around Acapulco by car! First, we went from The Casablanca Grand to The Bahia de Acapulco; now we are gona see the famous Clavadistas de Acapulco and go up to the highest peak in Acapuco!
Drove our Durango to a restaurant on the beach of the Costa Diamante for some authentic Mexican style grilled fish and this part 1 of 3 is the road trip getting there..
