Here are a few ideas for things to do with the Littles this weekend :)
Kids love balloons. Balloons are fun and frugal entertainment. There is certainly no denying that. I always keep a stash of balloons around to pull out on days when my boys are in need of some unexpected fun. They love to play the classic "don't let the balloon touch the floor" game.
Super giant bubbles are addicting to young and old. Here is a tutorial on how- to make your own "Super Giant Bubbles Kit". Kids would love to receive this as a gift or even help make the kit. I made the simple drawstring sack to hold the bubble kit supplies.
I've been thinking about building a fort or play house for Peanut's play room ( a.k.a. my office) for a long time now but, like most of my projects, I spend about 1 million hours thinking about it and about 0.0 seconds actually getting off my rear and doing something about it.
Have you ever wondered how to make playdough? There are many ways to make it right in your own kitchen. You can get really creative and add fun colors and smells to it. The possibilities are endless when you set out to be creative.
Did you see that? I wasn't kidding - this is a 5 MINUTE project! Mother's Day is coming up, and it's probably one of the most notorious holidays for homemade gifts. Button bookmarks are easy to make and the kids can even help make a set for Grandma!

This project comes to you at the request of Twitterer @GCcapitalM. I used to believe that a person could never have too many books, or too many bookmarks. Then I moved into an apartment slightly larger than some people's closets (and much smaller than many people's garages) and all these beliefs got turned on their naïeve little heads.
You're never too old for rainbows, explosions, or rainbow explosions. ..
Activity for ages 1 to 5. Back in March, our family spent one sunny weekend sowing hundreds of seeds in our raised beds. While my 4 year old daughter has been sowing seeds since she was a tot, it occurred to me she had never really seen what happened to those seeds she so carefully buried in the earth.
If you follow me on Instagram you've seen some pictures shared about this LASER maze activity that we do at my house just for fun! My kids love to play spies, ninjas, etc so to have their own laser maze in the hallway is super cool and really FUN!
