Telaga Tujuh Known as the "Seven Wells" in English, Telaga Tujuh is located around 45 kilometers from Kuah town at Gunung Mat Cincang. It is easily reachable by taxis or buses form the main town. Nestled at the north western corner of Langkawi Island, the beautifully crafted geological formation is indeed a natural wonder to be admired.
Towering over all other features and formations of the Pulau Langkawi stands the Gunung Raya, majestic and awe-inspiring. Like most other aspects of Langkawi, this 881 meter high elevation is also shrouded in myths and legends. Basically, the Federal Route 112 is the main circular trunk road that circles through the Langkawi Island. Both its starting terminal (Kilometre Zero) and the ending terminal are located at the Kuah town.
Visitors can get to Pulau Payar from the Kuah jetty point by catamaran or speed boat. The catamaran services operated by Langkawi Coral, takes about 45 minutes to get to Pulau Payar while the speed boat takes an hour. It is advisable to book the catamaran service a day before the trip.
