Here is a list of shelters and support for homeless youth and teen parents throughout Wisconsin and the nation.
“The mission of WAHRS is to provide the best, most efficient and effective services to run away and homeless youth, including those who are pregnant and/or parenting.
WAHRS, through a cooperative, strategically organized system between private member agencies, provides programs that strengthen families, prevent family dissolution, promote self-sufficiency, and assure safe, stable, and supportive homes for youth, young parents and their children” (WAHRS).

Youth Services of Southern Wisconsin offers many supports for youth in Dane County including:
• Temporary Shelter – providing a safe environment and additional supports.
• Street Outreach – connects youth with resources they need to be safe and healthy including personal care items, HIV/STI prevention supplies, and referrals to meals, other shelters or services.
• CHOICES – a support and education group for teenage girls providing a safe and confidential place to discuss issues they face.
• Teens Like Us – a safe place providing support and education for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer and straight allies.
• Top Ten – a peer education program to discuss youth concerns and plan presentations for school and community outreach. Topics include: HIV/STI prevention, ADOA, bullying, harassment, homophobia, LGBTQ issues, family violence, and accepting differences.
