Is this a 21st century learner? Or a 21st century life style? This video opens the mind to question what we think about the school system and the direction we are going. Have we as a society evolved so much that methods used during the industrial revolution are obsolete?

It is easy to reach global audience now. Literacy is evolving- it does not just mean read and write anymore. Traditional forms of communication are no longer sufficient for members of society. Literacy now requires the ability to decode messages rapidly from all sources of media.

The era of mastering the three Rs’ is gone. Authentic assessments ,performance based, and formative activities are the future of our schools.

The need for core cannot be forgotten, the need for 21st century is an addition to our curriculum.

This project was created to inspire teachers to use technology in engaging ways to help students develop higher level thinking skills. Equally important, it serves to motivate district level leaders to provide teachers with the tools and training to do so.
