This film features detailed footage in and around the city centre of Riga, the capital city of Latvia, which is a Baltic Sea state located in Eastern Europe. The footage is all shot during daytime and was filmed over three different days on walks around the City Centre and at visitor attractions in and around the city centre.

A timelapse I filmed during my holiday in Riga, Latvia between August 14th and September 1st. Showing in my opinion only a small portion of the beautiful city of Riga, for the full experience I highly recommend visiting yourself; you won't be disappointed, as the locals are friendly, the nightlife is brilliant and generally the atmosphere is worth visiting for alone.

The capital of Latvia -- Riga, founded 1201 -- has another well-preserved medieval town in the Baltic States. Although there are encroachments of modern structures within the old town area, it still retains its old world charm. A very delightful place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site too. 11 April 2012.
