It flows in a northerly direction through the Drysdale River National Park past the Seppelt Range, over a drop of 80 metres (262 ft) at King George Falls and then discharges into Koolama Bay and the Timor Sea.
We camped at the top of the falls and on arrival the views were spectacular. After 24 hours in ours tents with a tropical low passing that had the Kimberley on cyclone alert, we emerged to witness the power of nature, with amazing sights.
