Hakodate 函館市 is a city and port located in Oshima Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. Hakodate is located in the centre of Kameda peninsula. Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, the first commercial warehouse in Hakodate, has witnessed the history of the city through its warehousing business.
While in Hakodate, up in Hokkaido Japan, I went by "Mount Hakodat". Just a little vlog about that, chatting a bit, showing the nice view and such. Hope you enjoy the video!
Every year from December to March, Hakodate is covered in a blanket of white snow making for a beautiful winter scene. There are three ski resorts near Hakodate. You can enjoy powder snow and spectacular scenery. One unique feature of Hakodate is its monkeys. At the botanical garden, a hot spring is prepared for the monkeys.
