It is the largest port city in South Korea and the world's fifth busiest seaports by cargo tonnage. The city is located on the southeastern-most tip of the Korean peninsula.

Haeundae Beach in Busan is Korea's most popular beach. It is a great family beach and a promenade and golden sand stretch along the length of this little bay. At one end is Mipo Wharf where you can catch a ferry and at the other end a walkway arond the APEC building at the other end.
