Here is a list 1-9 of videos addressing the needs of our 21st century learners.. 1 being the most effective (in my opinion).

This video was ranked most effective for me because at the end of the day the teacher is who gets to create and help former the 21st century learner. This video is a great tool for teachers who aren’t comfortable with adjusting their ways to meet technology today. They give many reasons why teachers need to incorporate skills and expectations of the learner today.

This video was a great resource to show teachers why they should tweak their teaching to “use content to teach skills” in the classroom. It put a main focus on why kids need to learn certain things in a certain order so that they can apply those skills later in life.

This video looked at lower education students to capture their point of view on learning. The video was created to inspire leaders and teachers to incorporate technology in the classroom to allow students to create new things available in the 21st century.

This video addresses the point that we have moved past seeming “literate” because we can read and write. Students today have to be able to understand a deeper range of texts.

This video addresses new thinking that is needed for learners today. Today, learning is requiring higher order thinking. The what/how/where our kids need to learn are listed in this video.

This video looks at upper education learners today to capture their point of view on learning. It wraps up the idea that students are learning different things, trying to achieve a lot of the same goals, and changing constantly.

This video had students from a school hold up signs showing how they want to be engaged in the classroom. The signs demonstrated ways to engage learners and they ways they prefer to learn in the classroom.

This video interviews different leaders in the community that deal with learners today. The important idea addressed in the video is that learners to learn the SKILLS. Teachers need to connect learning skills informally and formally in the classroom.
