Learning in the 21st Century

This video is a great conversation starter and one that I have used with teachers at my school. It is relevant to teachers of young learners. Seeing the students with the signs is an attention grabber and can lead to great discussions about how to best teach these students.

This video is a conversation starter as well. It has similar facts to the video that is #1 on this list, but the reason this video didn't make it to the top spot on my list is because I feel that seeing the kids hold up the signs enable the viewer to feel more. That being said, this video is very powerful.

This video also ranks high on my list because of its attention grabbing nature and relevance to the teachers and students that I work with. It clearly shows reasons to use mobile devices and other technology in school to engage the learners.

This video makes great points that kids are not born as digital learners. They are born CONSUMING media, but not necessarily PRODUCING it. Discusses that students should be taught how to take the content and create something new with it. Technology is a tool to help make this happen.

This video explains is an easy to understand way what to do to engage 21st century learners and prepare them for the real world in three steps. 1. Build a foundation 2. Allow for exploration and 3. Real world application.

Another great attention grabbing video that can lead to great discussion. The only reason it is not higher on my list is because it is more relevant for high school and college level learners.

This video is in clear question and answer format and explains what 21st century learning is and why it is important to everyone. Gives great information and examples, in my opinion it is not as attention grabbing as some of the videos listed above.

Good points made in this video, but the information is very basic and it is simply reading facts on slides.

This video also makes good points, but it is not at powerful as the other videos on this list.
