Bonaire is an island off the northern coast of Venezuela, next to Aruba & Curacao. Before my week there, I knew nothing about Bonaire besides the fact that it has world-class diving & is extremely known in the diving communities for its wildlife and longstanding efforts in conservation.
We set out from Buddy Dive Resort aboard the "Coral Buddy" for an afternoon of diving on July 22, 2013, and were heading to the dive site Bon Bini Na Cas when we happened upon some sort of feeding frenzy. Only a moment had passed and we realized we were seeing a very rare site.
