Some breeds of dogs grow hair in their ears that needs to be removed for hygiene reasons. This is not a job for a novice without an experienced person assisting them - ears are delicate and we don't want to cause injury or infection - but anyone that owns one of these breeds should know it's necessary and what's involved.
