It is (sadly) front page news when a celebrity is arrested. Here are some unglamorous mugshots and the songs for the moment.
Every other person I meet has this mug shot on a t-shirt. I don’t know what that says about society, but it is the first thing that comes up when you Google his name. Is the Google search the new measurement of popularity? I don't know, but he had the Harry Styles hairdo first, it just needs more gel, or less, I'm not sure which.
From reckless driving to vandalism, this little pop boy has had his fair share of time in front of the cop camera. People have their theories, some think fame too young, some think boys will be boys (which makes no sense, but alright), and some knew it was coming. I don’t know if he smokes cigarettes, but they’d be the least of his troubles.
Once upon a time, the world watched this young person’s uninspiring riches to riches story on T.V. The song choice for this one is pretty obvious, but then again, everything Paris does is boring and obvious. DUI and drug possession sit on her arrest record. Not to be outdone, of course, by her friends Lohan and Richie.
I picked Lindsay’s song for three reasons:
1: She needs a throwback
2: I think she’d appreciate it
3: Just kidding, I don’t actually care
I think if she was asked to pick a song for her arrest mixtape, it would be her own in quick and shameless self promotion.
I’ve seen more of Charlie Sheen in mugshots than on T.V. His trouble timeline reads like a high school history textbook listing off the Hundred Years war. He’ll probably get it written on his tombstone, right after he does one last radio rant.
Sam Ronson was arrested for a D.U.I. like the rest of them. Here’s an idea, call a friend (you’re famous, you have many “friends”), pop in ZZ Top when you get home safely, and fantasize about drinking and driving instead.
I know this isn’t a mug shot, but it is one of many shots of Winona Ryder’s five finger discount. This is an oldie but a goodie, much like the Jane’s Addiction song that goes with it.
Pop culture and all that ideology sitting in the blind spot. Also crafts.
