Here's a list of road races, trail races, and other endurance events we like to participate in!

Los Luchadores 5k October 11, 2014

Location: Olmos Basin Park
651 Devine Rd.
San Antonio, TX

Start: 8:00am

This race will be chip timed. There will be water stops every mile, and mile markers will have photo booths. After the race, stay for the fiesta and enjoy food, live music, cold drinks and beer. All funds raised during 2014 will be donated to Seton Home.

Dragon's Den Half Marathon & Relay

August 17, 2014
This gorgeous Course is located on Old Pearsal Park which has a lovely view of all of San Antonio when you reach the highest peak. Lucky for our runners you will be making history by being the first race to be trending on these grounds in the whole San Antonio Running community.

BUA Eagle Run

Description: 4 Mile Timed Run and 1 Mile Fun Run hosted by Baptist University of the Américas

5K Walk/Run to End Polio

This Fun Run & Walk will be Sunday, October 26, 2014, at 8am. It is presented by the Alamo Heights Rotary Club as part of the international push for awareness toward eradication of polio on a global scale. This race supports END POLIO of Rotary International! Rotarians have helped immunize more than 2 billion children against polio in 122 countries. For as little as $0.60, a child can be protected against this crippling disease for life.

This first race of the GUSTO series is a 5K and 10K and open to any and all runners. Runners may participate in the Marathon Training program. Double Half Marathon, 5k and 10k (9/7/2014)

Join us and take a tour of the beautiful Leon Creek Greenway in San Antonio, Texas. The Greenway is a public, paved trail that extends from Loop 1604 and I-10, all the way to Ingram Park Mall. The trail runs 12 miles in total.

The 15K course will be one single loop on natural trails along the banks of the Medina River and other historic sights of the Institute. The 5K will also be a loop on natural trials. Post-race party and Awards Ceremony will be at 9:30am.

Our goal with the Alamo Beer Marathon Challenge is to get you to the finish line of the RNR sa marathon. But we want you to have fun getting there also, so we will have food and beer at each race. We will introduce you to some of the great places in san Antonio to get a locally brewed beer. And we will introduce you to some new places to run. So after the run, you will enjoy knowing that you are getting closer to your goal of a great half marathon or full marathon.

Walk-Run for Rex

The 2nd Annual Walk/Run for Rex will be held in memory of Rex Neal Van de Putte, who was born on November 16, 2012 and died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) on May 7, 2013 at the age of 5 months.

Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Wheatley Heights Sports Complex STADIUM.
This race benefits the Southwest SIDS Research Institute. Help the cause by creating a team or registering as an individual. Your valuable support helps the safe sleep outreach in Bexar County with provision of Safe Sleep Kits provided to new parents of high risk babies and a free Pack N Play program for those qualifying and needing a crib. All funds raised at Rex’s Run are designated to be used in the San Antonio area.

The Mustache Dache™ San Antonio

The Mustache Dache™ is the nation’s premier mustache-themed running series! Men, women and children are all invited to embrace their inner Mario or Luigi and participate in this slightly irreverent 5k. Taking place during the month of November, the national series helps Movember, the global men’s health charity, combat prostate and testicular cancer. All participants receive a t-shirt and mustache finisher’s medal, plus access to the Mustache Bash post-race party, with photo booth, costume contest, food trucks, and plenty more.

Bigfoot Trail Race benefiting Back on My Feet Austin | Back on My Feet Austin

Back on My Feet Austin and Rogue Running have teamed up to offer a challenging and unique trail race experience this fall. The Bigfoot Trail Race, proudly named after the a historic Texas Ranger, will embody the adventurous spirit and brave nature of these historic figures.

The race will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2014. The looped course will wind through the scenic Central Texas Hill Country of Flat Creek Crossing Ranch in Johnson City. Prepare for an exhilarating challenge and select from our three distance options: 10K, 30k, and 50K loops.

Proceeds directly support Back on My Feet Austin and its mission that uses running to create self-sufficiency in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness.

National Veterans Day Run

The 3rd Annual National Veterans Day Run in San Antonio will take place at McAllister Park on Veterans Day 11/11/2014 at 3:11 pm. The race will offer two distances including a 5K and a 1-mile family and supporter walk/run. We expect a large turnout of Veterans and Active-Duty military to this race so come out and support the men and women of our armed forces.

Operation Gratitude will be giving out their AMAZING CARE PACKAGES to veterans and active duty military in attendance.

Children 12 and under are FREE to register and veterans and active duty are only $11!

San Antonio River Foundation River Relay 2014

The San Antonio River Foundation is excited to announce a brand new event to San Antonio. River Relay is a thrilling and spectator friendly event that the entire city will enjoy, join the fun! Grab a partner and Kayak and Run a 6 mile roundtrip streach of the San Antonio River! For those who do not want to kayak with a partner, you can choose to do the race solo or a 5k run starting and ending at Confluence Park. The public is welcome to celebrate with refreshments at the end of the race at Confluence Park!
